Neodecanoic acid appears as a liquid the same as water at room temperature and is wih strong smell. It is miscible with isopropanol, benzene, ethyl acetate, acetone and carbon tetrachloride. The boiling point is 220～280℃. The melting point is -40℃. Density: 0.911. It is used in medicine, high oil, industrial flavor, pesticides, and so on. It is also used in industrial polymer synthesis.
