Description
Oleicacid butyl esteris light yellow transparant liquid .It is soluble in organic solvents such as ketone,ether,benzene and chloroform but insoluble in water. It is used in plasticiser and stabilizing agent in polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Oleicacid butyl ester is heat-resisting and weather resisting.
Oleic acid is a fatty acid that occurs naturally in various animal and vegetable fats and oils. It is an odorless, colourless oil, although commercial samples may be yellowish. In chemical terms, oleic acid is classified as a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid.
